December 2022

ICG and Marchmont are pleased to have acquired Wincanton, Eurohub 277, Corby for £28.45m from Tesco Pension Fund.

The property is strategically located at Eurohub distribution park in Corby, sitting adjacent to the A43 dual-carriageway, a key link road to the A14. Extending to 277,898 sq ft on an 18.15-acre site, the property comprises a modern and highly specified cross-docked distribution unit, benefitting from 18m eaves, loading yards of 50m and 39m, and a low site cover of 35%.
The property is fully let to Wincanton Plc, who have been in occupation since 2011, operating various key contracts from the site.

Corby has recently transformed as a logistics location given its excellent labour force dynamics, access to the UK motorway network and central position in the UK. Following Lutterworth and Milton Keynes, Corby is now home to one of GLP’s flagship Magna Park schemes.

Cameron Fraser, Director at Marchmont said: “Despite the current volatility, we continue to see high levels of occupier demand for best-in-class logistics space in supply-constrained areas. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a high-quality, exceptionally located warehouse let to a leading UK business, and continues our growth in the highly competitive submarkets in and around the South East of England.”
